Buyer Agent’s Code of Ethics Coté Acheteur
1. Coté Acheteur is committed to the code of ethics of the real estate profession. All of the members of the Cote Acheteur network hold a carte professionnelle transaction immobilière (real estate licence) and are committed to fulfilling their obligation to become bonded and insured.
2. Coté Acheteur is committed to following the loi N°70-9 du janvier 1970 (law 70-9 of January 1970) and its enabling legislation and does not accept any sum before the final closing of the sale as is strictly prohibited by this law and the real estate profession.
3. Coté Acheteur is committed to the terms of the mandat de recherché exclusive (exclusive buyer agency agreement) signed by both parties.
4. Coté Acheteur is committed to using all possible resources in its property searches. Its agents are committed to searches based on the needs and expectations of clients who have signed an exclusive buyer agency agreement.
5. Coté Acheteur is committed to regular contact with its clients to keep them informed of the progress of their searches. It will provide them with at least monthly reports of properties that have been selected and visited by the client’s buyer agent.
6. Coté Acheteur is committed to total objectivity in the choice of properties that fit its client’s needs.
7. Coté Acheteur is committed to supporting its clients in their search for property from the very beginning through the property closing.
8. Coté Acheteur is committed to complete confidentiality and will not divulge either information about the client or information concerning properties visited through any means other than information given directly to the client
9. Coté Acheteur is committed to creating confidence between client and buyer agent as well as with the professionals working with its affiliates.
